Shipping and Delivery

Shipping Costs
European Tableware offers free shipping to all continental U.S addresses every day for orders totaling $99.00 or more of merchandise. Orders to any continental U.S address totaling less than $99.00 will ship for a flat $9.95. Free shipping does not apply to Alaska and Hawaii. See “Delivery Areas” below.

Shipping Time
If you need your order by a certain date, please let us know by making on note in Comments on your order or calling us. Our inventory changes daily. In-stock items will be shipped within 48 hours and will take 3-10 days to reach you. Items that are not in stock may take 2-3 weeks to reach you. We occasionally ship direct from the manufacturer which takes 1-2 weeks. Special orders and long backorders may take 4-8 weeks. To check on availability, call us at 571-225-3512.

When Your Order is Charged

Sales Tax
Only orders that are shipped to Virginia will be charged sales tax at the rate of 5%. There is no sales tax on orders shipped to anywhere else.

Free Local Pickup
If you live in Northern Virginia, you can pick up your order. Important: you will need to put “Local Pickup” in the Comments box upon checkout. Our local pickup site is: The UPS Store, 5501 Merchants View Square, Haymarket, VA 20169. We package your order for shipping, let you know when it is ready, and you can pick it up at your leisure. No shipping is charged. Call us at 571-225-3512 if you have questions about this option.

Tracking Your Order
After your order has been shipped from our warehouse in Virginia, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with tracking information included. Sometimes current carrier information will take 2-3 days to appear on-line. If the tracking information doesn’t work, use the Contact Us form or call us toll free at 571-225-3512 and we will help. If your product comes directly from the manufacturer, tracking information may not be available.

Shipping Methods
We will choose either USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, depending on your zip code and size of your order. UPS requires a street address for delivery.

Expedited Shipping
If you need your items in a hurry, call us at 571-225-3512 or use the Contact Us form. We will do our best to fill your order ASAP and use an expedited shipping service. Additional charges will apply for expedited shipping.

Returns Policy

Didn’t Like or Didn’t Want
You may return this product in original condition with the original packaging within 30 days of receiving it. When sending items back, enclose this packing slip (or a copy) with reason for return noted on the front. Refunds will include the price of the item(s) and any tax LESS the actual outbound shipping costs incurred by European Tableware (or the flat $9.95 shipping fee, whichever is greater). A 20% restocking fee may apply if items are not returned in original condition.

Want a Different Item
If you would like a different item than you received, please place another order. You will pay shipping if it applies. Then return the item that you do not want in the original condition, enclosing this packing slip (or a copy) with reason for return noted on the front. You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order. Once we receive the returned item, the refund will include the price of the item(s) and any taxes LESS the actual outbound shipping costs incurred by European Tableware (or the flat $9.95 shipping fee, whichever is greater).

Exchanges
We do not do exchanges per se. You will have to pay shipping back to us and shipping for the new item. Please see “Want a Different Item” (above).

Defective Merchandise/Breakage

When Shipping a Return: Address, Tracking
Use our address at the bottom front of the invoice as a mailing label if you wish. Or, address your package to: European Tableware, Attn: Returns, 4117 Padgett Drive, Haymarket, VA 20169. Please use a shipping service that includes a tracking number. We cannot refund you for items that are never received by us.

Holiday Returns Policy
We understand that many customers like to order holiday gifts early, so we have extended our returns period for the holidays. Items shipped between November 1, 2014 and December 31, 2014 may be returned until January 31, 2015 for a full refund, subject to our other returns restrictions.

We inspect returns very carefully. Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive. If you have created an account, you can view completed returns and refunds by visiting My Account.
